Erected 16 January 1971 as the Diocese of Saint John's and renamed Saint John's-Basseterre in 1981. Its seat is Holy Family Cathedral in St. John's, Antigua, with the Co-Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
