- Flavio Cavallini, O.F.M.
A see whose chair stands empty is recorded as vacant rather than filled with a guess. On what a bishop is, see the bishop.
The cathedral
Pro-Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Louis in Vlorë stands in Vlorë, the church that holds the cathedra from which this see takes its name.
On what a cathedral is, see the cathedral; every see church on earth is gathered at the cathedrals.
History
Covering the southern regions of Albania, the Apostolic Administration of Southern Albania (Albanian: Administratura Apostolike e Shqiperisë së Jugut, Latin: Administratio Apostolica Albaniae Meridionalis, Italian: Albania Meridionale) exercises jurisdiction over all Catholics in its territory, Latin Church faithful and Byzantine Catholics alike. It is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Tiranë-Durrës, and its cathedra stands in the Pro-Cathedral of St. Mary and St.
