History
Since 23 January 2025 the Roman Catholic Diocese of Alto Molócuè in Mozambique has been led by Estêvão Ângelo Fernando (born 17 June 1974), a Mozambican prelate appointed by Pope Francis. Before his appointment he had served, from 24 June 2001, as a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Quelimane, Mozambique. His episcopal consecration took place on 10 May 2025 at Alto Molócuè.
