History
For Ukrainian Greek Catholic faithful in Argentina, a major country of immigration, there exists the Eparchy of Santa María del Patrocinio en Buenos Aires (Latin: Eparchia Sanctae Mariae a Patrocinio Bonaënsis). This eparchy (a diocese or bishopric) celebrates the Byzantine Rite in the Ukrainian language. Its cathedral stands in the capital, Buenos Aires, though it should not be confused with the Latin rite metropolitan see of the ecclesiastical province of Buenos Aires.
