History
In the Central African Republic, the Diocese of Bambari (Latin: Dioecesis Bambaritana) is a Latin Church jurisdiction with its episcopal see at Bambari. It is a suffragan of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Bangui, whose province covers the Central African Republic, while depending on the missionary Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Its cathedral is the Cathédrale Saint Joseph, dedicated to Saint Joseph, in Bambari, Ouaka.
