History
The city of Mymensingh, within Bangladesh's ecclesiastical province of Dhaka, is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mymensingh (Latin: Diœcesis Mymensinghensis), led by Bishop Ponen Paul Kubi, CSC, DD. Most of the faithful here belong to the Garo community; the diocese counts 76,047 Catholics, and 6665 Protestant Christians also live in the territory.
