Military Ordinariate of Brasile

Latin-rite military ordinariate providing pastoral care to Catholics serving in the Brazilian Armed Forces and their families. Erected 6 November 1950 as a military vicariate and elevated to a military ordinariate on 21 July 1986, it is immediately exempt to the Holy See. Its seat is the Military Cathedral of St. Mary Queen of Peace in Brasilia.
