History
Montes Claros, in Minas Gerais, Brazil, is the seat of a Latin Rite metropolitan archdiocese (Latin: Archidioecesis Montisclarensis). Its archiepiscopal cathedral in the city is the Catedral Metropolitana Nossa Senhora Aparecida, dedicated to Our Lady of Aparecida.
