Latin-rite metropolitan archdiocese in Equateur Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, erected in 1924 as the Apostolic Prefecture of Tsuapa, promoted to Metropolitan Archdiocese of Coquilhatville in 1959, renamed Mbandaka in 1966, and renamed Mbandaka-Bikoro in 1975 after absorbing the suppressed Diocese of Bikoro. Its seat is the Cathedral of St. Eugene in Mbandaka. Suffragans: Basankusu, Bokungu-Ikela, Budjala, Lisala, Lolo, and Molegbe.

History
Mbandaka-Bikoro (Latin: Mbandakan(us)-Bikoroën(sis)) is the Metropolitan See of the Latin Rite Ecclesiastical province of the same name in the western part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The archiepiscopal cathedral is the Cathedral of St. Eugene in Mbandaka, Équateur Province, and the archdiocese stands under the authority of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.
