Latin-rite metropolitan archdiocese on the coast of the Republic of the Congo, tracing to the Apostolic Vicariate of Loango, renamed the Apostolic Vicariate of Pointe-Noire in January 1949 and raised to metropolitan archdiocese on 30 May 2020 with Dolisie and Nkayi as suffragans. Its seat is the Cathedrale Saint-Pierre-Apotre (St. Peter the Apostle Cathedral) in Pointe-Noire. Archbishop Abel Liluala has led the archdiocese since 6 January 2024.

Pointe-Noire, in the Republic of the Congo, is the seat of a Roman Catholic archdiocese (Latin: Nigrirostren(sis)). Its province counts two suffragan dioceses, Dolisie and Nkayi.
