Latin-rite diocese covering the populous Yopougon district of Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, erected on 8 June 1982 from the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Abidjan. It is a suffragan of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Abidjan and its seat is the Cathedrale Saint-Andre in Yopougon. Bishop Jean Salomon Lezoutie leads the diocese, appointed in 2015 per the Holy See press bulletin cited by Wikipedia.
