Antofagasten(sis)

Antofagasta is a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese in northern Chile, established as a mission in 1881 and promoted to a metropolitan archdiocese on 28 June 1967, with suffragan sees including Iquique, Calama, and San Marcos de Arica. It has been led by Archbishop Ignacio Francisco Ducasse Medina since 2017.
