Latin-rite diocese seated at Montelibano in the Cordoba department of Colombia, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Cartagena. Established on 12 June 1924 as the Apostolic Prefecture of Sinu from the Archdiocese of Cartagena, it became the Territorial Prelature of Alto Sinu in 1969 and was elevated to a diocese on 29 December 1998. Its seat is the Cathedral of la Santa Cruz in Montelibano.
