Neo-Pampilonen(sis)

Latin-rite metropolitan archdiocese seated at Pamplona in the Norte de Santander department of Colombia. It was erected as a diocese on 25 September 1835 by Pope Gregory XVI from the Archdiocese of Santafe en Nueva Granada and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese on 29 May 1956. Its seat is the Cathedral of Santa Clara in Pamplona.
