The Diocese of Cádiz y Ceuta is a Latin Church diocese in Andalusia and the autonomous city of Ceuta, Spain, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Seville. The see became sede vacante on 22 November 2025 when Pope Leo XIV accepted Bishop Rafael Zornoza's resignation and named Ramón Valdivia Giménez apostolic administrator.

History

A suffragan of the Archdiocese of Seville, the Diocese of Cádiz and Ceuta (Latin: Dioecesis Gadicensis o Gaditanus et Septensis) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Spain. Its territory takes in the civil province of Cádiz south of the Guadalete river, embracing the comarcas of Campo de Gibraltar, La Janda, and Bahía de Cádiz, though most of Puerto de Santa María, lying north of the Guadalete, falls instead to the diocese of Jerez de la Frontera.
