Latin rite diocese in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, with origins in 589 as the Diocese of Siguenza, renamed Siguenza-Guadalajara on 9 March 1959. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Toledo. Its seat is the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption (Santa Maria) in Siguenza, with the Co-Cathedral of St Mary in Guadalajara.

History
Two cities, Sigüenza and Guadalajara, anchor the Diocese of Sigüenza-Guadalajara (Latin: Dioecesis Seguntinus-Guadalaiarensis), a Latin Church diocese within Spain's ecclesiastical province of Toledo. Civilly it lies in the Spanish province of Guadalajara in Castile, central Spain, with Soria to the north, Zaragoza and Teruel to the east, Cuenca to the south, and Guadalajara and Segovia to the west.
