The Diocese of Gap-Embrun is a Latin rite diocese covering the Hautes-Alpes department in southeastern France; the ancient see of Gap (5th century) was renamed Gap-Embrun on 5 July 2022, recalling the suppressed archdiocese of Embrun. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Marseille. Its seat is the Cathedral of Notre-Dame and St. Arnoux in Gap.

History
In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southern France, the Diocese of Gap and Embrun (Latin: Dioecesis Vapincensis et Ebrodunensis; French: Diocèse de Gap et d'Embrun) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church. Gap Cathedral, in the city of Gap, is the episcopal see, with the Co-cathédrale of Notre Dame in Embrun serving as co-cathedral; the diocese also counts a minor basilica, the Basilique Notre-Dame du Laus in Saint-Étienne-le-Laus. It is a suffragan diocese within the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Marseille, and Xavier Malle is the current bishop.
