The Diocese of Quimper (Quimper et Leon, historic Cornouaille) is a Latin rite diocese covering the Finistere department in Brittany, an ancient see erected in the 5th century and a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Rennes. Its cathedral is the Cathedral Basilica of St. Corentin in Quimper.

History
Founded originally in the 5th century, the Diocese of Quimper (-Cornouaille) and Léon (Latin: Dioecesis Corisopitensis (-Cornubiensis) et Leonensis; French: Diocèse de Quimper (-Cornouaille) et Léon) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in France. The anti-clericalism of the French Revolution saw the diocese dismantled, and in 1853 its name changed from the Diocese of Quimper (-Cornouaille) to the Diocese of Quimper (-Cornouaille) and Léon.
