The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston is a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese in southeastern Texas, erected as the Diocese of Galveston in 1847 and elevated to an archdiocese in 2004. It is led by Archbishop Joe S. Vasquez, who succeeded Cardinal Daniel DiNardo in 2025.

History
Covering a portion of Southeast Texas, the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston (Latin: Archidiœcesis Galvestoniensis-Houstoniensis) is an archdiocese of the Catholic Church in the United States and the metropolitan see of the ecclesiastical province covering east Texas. First erected as the "Diocese of Galveston" in 1847 and a diocese from 1959, it became an archdiocese in 2004. St. Mary Cathedral Basilica in Galveston is its mother church, with the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Houston serving as co-cathedral. Joe Vásquez is the archbishop.
