The Archdiocese of Cardiff-Menevia is a Latin rite metropolitan archdiocese covering south Wales and Herefordshire, created on 12 September 2024 by Pope Francis through the merger of the Archdiocese of Cardiff and the Diocese of Menevia. Its predecessor see was erected in 1850 as Newport and Menevia and elevated to the Archdiocese of Cardiff in 1916. Its seat is St David's Metropolitan Cathedral in Cardiff, with St Joseph's Co-Cathedral in Swansea.

History
South Wales and the English county of Herefordshire fall within the Archdiocese of Cardiff-Menevia (Latin: Archidioecesis Cardiffensis-Menevensis; Welsh: Archesgobaeth Caerdydd-Mynyw), a Latin archdiocese of the Catholic Church. The Metropolitan Province of Cardiff extends over all of Wales and parts of England, with the Diocese of Wrexham as its one suffragan see.
