History
Established in 1993 with headquarters in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, the Apostolic Administration of the Caucasus (Latin: Administratio Apostolica Caucasi Latinorum) is an apostolic administration (a pre-diocesan jurisdiction) of the Latin Church in the Catholic Church. It belongs to no ecclesiastical province, being exempt, that is, directly subject to the Holy See and to its Roman Congregation for the Oriental Churches. Giuseppe Pasotto has served as Apostolic Administrator of the Caucasus since 1996.
