The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Gitega is a Latin Church see in central Burundi, founded in 1912 as a vicariate and elevated to an archdiocese on 10 November 1959. Archbishop Bonaventure Nahimana has led it since 2022, overseeing four suffragan dioceses.
