The Diocese of Sisak is a Latin Church diocese in central Croatia, re-erected on 5 December 2009 by Pope Benedict XVI from territory of the Archdiocese of Zagreb, to which it is suffragan. Its cathedral is dedicated to the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

History
In the Sisak-Moslavina region of Croatia, the Diocese of Sisak (Croatian: Sisačka biskupija; Latin: Dioecesis Sisciensis) is a Latin Church suffragan diocese within the ecclesiastical province of the metropolitan Archdiocese of Zagreb. Its cathedral in the episcopal see of Sisak, the Katedrala Uzvišenja sv. Križa, is dedicated to the Exaltation of the Holy Cross; the city also holds a minor basilica, the Bazilika Sv. Kvirina, honoring the saint and martyr Quirinus of Sescia, the diocese's first bishop.
