Its cathedral is the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Denpasar and the current ordinary is Bishop Silvester Tung Kiem San, appointed in 2008.

Covering the predominantly Hindu province of Bali together with the mostly Muslim province of West Nusa Tenggara, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Denpasar (Latin: Denpasaren(sis)) belongs to the ecclesiastical province of Ende in Indonesia. Its see is at Denpasar, the capital city of Bali.
