Byzantine-rite patriarchal dependent territory of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Jerusalem, held directly by the Melkite Patriarch of Antioch (Youssef Absi), who permanently bears the title of Patriarch of Jerusalem. It is governed on his behalf by a patriarchal vicar, Archbishop Yasser Ayyash, appointed 9 February 2018. Its seat is the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Annunciation in Jerusalem.
