History
With its see in the city of Prayagraj, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Allahabad (Latin: Allahabaden(sis)) belongs to India's ecclesiastical province of Agra. Thirteen districts of Uttar Pradesh fall within the diocese: Ambedkarnagar, Amethi, Ayodhya, Fatehpur, Kanpur City, Kanpur Dehat, Kaushambi, Mirzapur, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Sonbhadra, and Sultanpur.
