Latin-rite diocese covering eastern Arunachal Pradesh, India, erected 7 December 2005 from the Diocese of Dibrugarh. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Guwahati, with the Cathedral of Christ the Light in Miao as its seat. Catholics number about 98,600 (2020), roughly 19% of the population.
