Latin-rite diocese in Telangana, India, erected 31 May 1976 from the Archdiocese of Hyderabad and the Diocese of Warangal, and a suffragan of Hyderabad. Its seat is Mariarani Cathedral (Mary Queen of the Apostles) in Nalgonda, serving about 67,000 Catholics (2004).
