The Diocese of Mandeville in central Jamaica was established as an apostolic vicariate on 15 April 1991 and elevated to a diocese on 21 November 1997, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kingston in Jamaica. Its seat is the Pro-Cathedral of St. Paul of the Cross in Mandeville, covering Manchester, Clarendon and St. Elizabeth parishes. Bishop John Derek Persaud was appointed on 19 June 2020.
