The Diocese of Kayanga is a Latin Rite diocese in northwestern Tanzania, erected by Pope Benedict XVI in 2008 from the Diocese of Rulenge. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Mwanza, and its first and current bishop is Almachius Vincent Rweyongeza.

History
Carved on August 14, 2008 from territory that had belonged to the Diocese of Rulenge, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kayanga (Latin: Dioecesis Kayangana) has its seat in the city of Kayanga within the Tanzanian ecclesiastical province of Mwanza. It maintains 11 parishes, two schools, two hospitals and a health clinic. Alongside its parish and administrative priests, three communities of women religious serve there: the Religious Congregation of the Apostles of Unlimited Love Sisters (Masista Mitume wa Upendo Upeo), the Franciscan Sisters of St. Bernadette, and the Sisters of St. Therese of the Child Jesus.
