Its seat is the Daeheung-dong Cathedral of St. Joseph the Worker in Daejeon, with diocesan facilities developing in nearby Sejong City. Bishop Augustinus Kim Jong-soo leads the diocese, assisted by auxiliary bishop Stephanus Han Jung-hyun.

History
Daejeon, South Korea has its own Latin Catholic see, the Diocese of Daejeon (Latin: Dioecesis Taeieonensis, Hangul: 천주교 대전교구). Augustinus Kim Jong-soo has been appointed its bishop, with Stephanus Han Jung-hyun serving as auxiliary bishop.
