Maronite Catholic archeparchy of Tripoli in northern Lebanon, canonically erected by the Maronite Synod of Mount Lebanon in 1736 and elevated to archeparchy rank by Pope Paul VI on 5 September 1965. It is immediately subject to the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and its cathedral is Saint Michael Cathedral in Tripoli.

History
In the north-west of Lebanon, the Maronite Catholic Archeparchy of Tripoli (Tripoli of the Maronites; Latin: Archieparchia Tripolitanus Maronitarum) is a non-metropolitan archeparchy of the Maronite Church, part of no ecclesiastical province and immediately subject to the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and the Roman Congregation for the Oriental Churches. Archeparch Youssef Soueif presently leads it, with his seat at Saint Michael Cathedral in the city of Tripoli (Arabic Tarabulus as-Sam).
