Melkite Greek Catholic metropolitan archeparchy of Tyre in southern Lebanon, an ancient see whose Catholic line traces to Archbishop Euthymios Saifi's communion with Rome beginning in 1683. Its cathedral is Saint Thomas Cathedral in Tyre and it serves as metropolitan for the Melkite sees of Baniyas, Sidon and Tripoli.

History
A metropolitan see of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, the Melkite Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Tyre (Latin: Archeparchy Tyrensis Graecorum Melkitarum) counted 3,100 baptized in 2009. Since the removal of Archeparch Michael Abrass, BA, on 31 January 2021, it has been governed by an Apostolic Administrator, Archbishop Elie Bechara Haddad, B.S.
