History

Erected on 6 March 1955, the Roman Catholic Diocese of David is suffragan to the Archdiocese of Panamá. Its cathedral church is the Catedral de San José, Chiriquí, and its current leader is Bishop-elect Luis Enrique Saldaña Guerra.
