The Archdiocese of Parakou is a Latin Church metropolitan archdiocese in northern Benin. Erected as an apostolic prefecture in 1948 and a diocese in 1964, it was elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese in 1997 and is led by Archbishop Pascal N'Koué.

History

In Benin, the Archdiocese of Parakou (Latin: Archidioecesis Parakuensis) serves as the Metropolitan See of the ecclesiastical province of Parakou. Its social arm is Caritas BDBD Parakou.
