History
Known in Latin as the Vicariatus Apostolicus Giennensis in Peruvia, the Apostolic Vicariate of Jaén en Peru, also called the Vicariate Apostolic of San Francisco Javier, is a Latin Church jurisdiction of the Catholic Church in Peru. Rather than belonging to an ecclesiastical province, it remains immediately exempt, subject directly to the Holy See. Its cathedral stands in the episcopal see of Jaén, in the Cajamarca province of Peru.

This see keeps no website of its own, so the address of its diocesan offices is published here: withholding it would protect nothing and leave a reader with nowhere to go. Where a see publishes its own site, the register sends you there instead.
