Latin rite territorial prelature in the Lima region of Peru, erected 12 April 1957 from the Archdiocese of Lima and entrusted from its beginning to priests of Opus Dei. It is a suffragan of Lima, seated at the Cathedral of St. Vincent Martyr (San Vicente Martir) in San Vicente de Canete.
