The Diocese of Aitape is a Latin rite diocese on the north coast of Papua New Guinea, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Madang. The jurisdiction was erected in 1952 and became a diocese in the 1966 reorganization of the Papua New Guinea hierarchy.
