The Military Ordinariate of the Philippines is a Latin rite jurisdiction serving Catholics in the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police and the Philippine Coast Guard. Erected by Pope Pius XII on 8 December 1950 as a military vicariate, it was elevated to a military ordinariate in 1986 under the apostolic constitution Spirituale militum curae. Its principal church is the Saint Ignatius of Loyola Military Cathedral.

History
Serving the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police, and the Philippine Coast Guard, the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines is a Latin Church military ordinariate of the Catholic Church. Its care extends to all military, police, and coast guard personnel, their dependents, and the civilian human resources of every branch of the armed forces. The Immaculate Conception is its titular patron, with Ignatius of Loyola and John of Capistrano as secondary patrons.
