History
Gdańsk serves as the episcopal see of this Latin Church archdiocese in Poland, known in Latin as Gedanen(sis). Church statistics recorded Sunday Mass attendance at 38.1% in 2013, a figure below the national Polish average of 39.1% for weekly attendance. The Archcathedral Basilica of The Holy Trinity, Blessed Virgin Mary and St Bernard in Gdańsk holds designation as a Historic Monument of Poland.
