Its see is the Cathedral of the Protection of the Mother of God in Olsztyn, with a co-cathedral in Gdansk. It is a suffragan of the Archeparchy of Przemysl-Warsaw.

History
For Ukrainian Greek Catholics in part of Poland, worshipping in the Byzantine rite in the Ukrainian language, the Eparchy of Olsztyn-Gdańsk (Olsztyn-Gdańsk of the Ukrainians) serves as an Eastern Catholic diocese parallel to the Latin hierarchy. It is a suffragan eparchy within the ecclesiastical province of the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Przemyśl-Warsaw and depends on the Roman Congregation for the Oriental Churches.
