The Diocese of Port Victoria is the only Latin Catholic diocese in the Seychelles, with its see in the capital Victoria. Established as an apostolic prefecture in 1852 and erected as a diocese in 1892, it is immediately subject to the Holy See and remains under missionary jurisdiction.

History
The Seychelles has only one Latin Catholic diocese, Port Victoria (also called Seychelles; French: Diocèse de Port-Victoria). It is exempt, meaning directly dependent on the Holy See, and remains missionary in character, governed by the Roman Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Its cathedral episcopal see is the Cathédrale de l’Immaculée Conception, dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, in Victoria, the country's capital city.
