The Archdiocese of Évora is a Latin rite metropolitan archdiocese in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal, raised to archiepiscopal rank in 1544. It heads the ecclesiastical province of Évora, with Beja and Faro as suffragan dioceses, and is led by Archbishop Francisco Senra Coelho, appointed in 2018.

History

With Évora Cathedral as its see, the Archdiocese of Évora (Latin: Archidioecesis Eborensis) is a Latin Church diocese of the Catholic Church in Portugal whose suffragans are the diocese of Beja and the diocese of Faro. Francisco José Vilas Boas Senra de Faria Coelho has been archbishop of Évora since 2018, while José Francisco Sanches Alves, who held the office from 2008 to 2018, is archbishop emeritus.
