The Metropolitan Archdiocese of Beograd-Smederevo is the Latin Catholic archdiocese centered in Belgrade, Serbia. It is led by Cardinal Ladislav Nemet, S.V.D., archbishop since 2022, and is the metropolitan see for the suffragan dioceses of Subotica and Zrenjanin.

History

Central Serbia falls under the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Belgrade (Latin: Archidioecesis Metropolitae Belogradensis; Serbian: Београдска надбискупија и митрополија; Croatian: Beogradska nadbiskupija i metropolija), the Latin Church archdiocese of the Catholic Church in Serbia. Its episcopal see is the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary, while the Episcopal Palace on Svetozara Markovića Street houses its headquarters.
