The Archdiocese of Sorrento-Castellammare di Stabia is a Latin Church see in Campania, Italy, formed in 1986 by uniting the historic sees of Sorrento and Castellammare di Stabia. It carries the archiepiscopal title but is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Naples, having lost metropolitan status in 1979.

History
This Latin archdiocese in Campania has held its present form since 1986, when the Diocese of Castellammare di Stabia was suppressed and its territory joined to the Archdiocese of Sorrento (Latin: Archidioecesis Surrentina-Castri Maris o Stabiensis). Having lost metropolitan status in 1979, it is now a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Naples. In 2014 the diocese of Sorrento counted one priest for every 1,503 Catholics.
