The Diocese of Teggiano-Policastro is a Latin rite see in Campania, southern Italy, taking its current form in 1986 from the union of the diocese of Diano (Teggiano) and the diocese of Policastro. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Salerno-Campagna-Acerno and is led by Bishop Antonio De Luca, C.Ss.R.

History

A Latin Church diocese in Campania, the Diocese of Diano (Teggiano)-Policastro (Latin: Dioecesis Dianensis-Policastrensis) has existed since 1850 and has carried its present name since 1986, the year the Diocese of Diano (Teggiano) was joined with the diocese of Policastro. It stands as a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Salerno-Campagna-Acerno, with its cathedral, the Cattedrale di S. Maria Maggiore e S. Michele Arcangelo, in Teggiano. Antonio De Luca is the current bishop.
