Latin-rite metropolitan archdiocese in southeastern Bangladesh, made the seat of the country's second ecclesiastical province by Pope Francis on 2 February 2017, with Khulna and Barishal as suffragans; the see was officially renamed Chattogram in 2018. Its seat is Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cathedral in Chattogram. Archbishop Lawrence Subrato Howlader, C.S.C. was appointed 19 February 2021 and installed 9 April 2021.

History
Renamed Chattogram on December 28, 2018, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chittagong (Latin: Archidiœcesis Chittagongensis) is a Latin Church archdiocese in Bangladesh. As metropolitan see it heads the ecclesiastical province of Chittagong, whose suffragans are the Roman Catholic Diocese of Khulna and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Barisal, both within Bangladesh.
