Latin rite metropolitan archdiocese in central Bolivia, erected as a diocese in 1847 and elevated to a metropolitan archdiocese on 30 July 1975. Its seat is the Catedral Metropolitana San Sebastian in Cochabamba. Archbishop Oscar Omar Aparicio Cespedes has led the archdiocese since 2014.
