The Diocese of Grand Falls in Newfoundland originated in 1856 as the Diocese of Harbour Grace, becoming Harbour Grace-Grand Falls in 1958 and taking its current name in 1964. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of St. John's, with its see at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

History
Erected on 29 February 1856 as the Diocese of Harbour Grace, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Grand Falls (Latin: Dioecesis Grandfallensis) is a Latin suffragan within the Atlantic Canadian ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of St. John's, Newfoundland. Its cathedral episcopal see is the Marian Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Grand Falls-Windsor, and a former cathedral, likewise dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, stands in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland and Labrador.
