Latin-rite diocese in Kwilu province, southwestern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Established as the Apostolic Prefecture of Ipamu 13 April 1937, elevated to an apostolic vicariate in 1948, promoted to a diocese in 1959, and renamed Idiofa on 20 June 1960; it is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Kinshasa.
